Konstantinos Anastassiadis got a PhD in Agricultural Sciences at the Technical University of Berlin in 1993. After several post-doc positions in Germany, since 2004 he has been
working at BIOTEC, the biotechnology center of the Technical University of Dresden. His research interest is focused on the molecular pathways that regulate self-renewal and lineage commitment of
stem cells and the molecular mechanisms that are involved in cellular reprogramming.
