Luca Pani, physician, is specialized in Psychiatry and an expert in Pharmacology and Molecular Biology. From 2011 to 2016 he was chief exective officer of the Italian Medicines Agency (AIFA). In addition to intensive teaching and clinical activities, he is currently involved in regulatory activities for EMA, the European Medicines Agency in London, and is affiliated as Volunteer Professor at the University of Miami, where he lives. He has been CNR research executive since 2002. He is author of more than 100 scientific publications with an Impact Factor averaging over 5.0 and speaker, since 1994, at over 1000 conferences, seminars, round-tables, national and international conferences.
